While we are on the subject of my linen and grain sack obsession, I thought I would show you something I made today which incorporates these loves...this little pillow.
I made it while I was doing some other cushions for the shop.

It has a plain back in stone coloured linen / cotton mix (60/40)
...and includes another favourite - ladder stitching in the form of this linen ribbon.
The printed panel is on a putty coloured linen with chocolate brown print.
This little sweetie is available through my store Marley & Lockyer, or you can email me.
I would love to know what you think.

Beautiful! You must be so full of energy - you are forever creating beautiful things. Your head must be buzzing with ideas.
ReplyDeleteCatherine...if you only knew! I have sketch books filled with ideas. I would have to do about 10 new tings a day to have it all done by the time I am 99!!!

ReplyDeleteOh my Gosh Ness!!! I totally admire you. I am trying to finish a pillow, ok the embroidery part of it. I am just not good at making it into the final product. Which is the pillow. Your pillow is beautiful, all the little details. The Linen! Bravo!!!
ReplyDeleteThe pillows looks very fresh.
ReplyDeleteI like your style, it looks very vintage.
Best regards
Melly

Gorgeous Ness, you are so clever! Oh to have the patience to sew. I am too 'gross motor' to do delicate 'fine motor' things. I should have been a carpenter! A-M xx
