I'm Drawn....

...to everything in this image...
This would be my perfect interior. It has all that I love like the black, not too fussy
Chandelier. The centre island with wicker drawers and white serving ware displayed underneath and the pot rack above it. The awesome range above a chef envy stove. I can't fully make out the flower on the island, but I think it is white Hydrangea's.
The fantastic dining table with Spanish style scrolled legs and a marble top (no gouges from textas here) and paired with beautiful French style chairs that have beautiful white frocks on with just a hint of frou frou in the ruffled bottoms.
I love threes, so am diggin' the Lavenders on the table in terracotta and the clear glass canisters in 3's on the back counter. Let's not forget the lovely soft Linen colour on the walls and the stunning ceiling beams, French doors to wash the space in a warming glow, a beautiful outlook to the lush green garden, stone floors and perfectly laid out...now how do I get this home??

  1. Totally with you Ness...if I was to build a house from scratch, this is what my kitchen area would look like. And I've always wanted a sink with a view, and this one has it.

  2. We have a view...of a horrid driveway and a wobbly window that are both about to become lovely! I will post when it is done.

  3. Oh, my gosh, this kitchen is definitely a dream kitchen - I love it too. Whose kitchen is this and where is it? It is gorgeous! By the way, are those marble floors?

  4. Yes this is gorgeous!!! As you know I have a small dark kitchen, it is still cool in its own way but I would die for some open plan living...If we ever do the courthouse up I can visualise every detail as it has a large long room like this except for the lush green grass as we don't have that very often here because of heat and then frosts - lol!!! You have beautiful taste I must say!!! Take care Cath xx

  5. Zita,
I got this from Dreamhouse blog and it was an unknown image. I wish I could see more of the rest of the house as I am sure it would be my favourite house. I think the floors are marble.

  6. Hi Cathy,
Thank you! You have glorious taste too. We don't have much green lawn either at the moment. But it is like this alot of the year...even with our thick frosts.

  7. I can definitely see why you are drawn to this kitchen, Ness.
Details like the lavender in pots and the wicker storage baskets keep the all white kitchen from feeling too cold. I really like the skirt detail on the white slipped dining chairs.
    Have a great day!

  9. I know I love love love this kitchen. I saw this house posted on Cote De Texas. So, if you want to check out more of the house (you won't be disappointed) then I would go look at her blog. It's a little while back though when she posted but it's worth looking at. Daisy~

  11. I agree - this is a dreamy room. But for some crazy reason, I am not into pot racks! As a younger girl I loved them, but now that I am an avid cook, I find that I don't like my pots and things sitting out. What you don't use regularly just gets dusty!

They still look amazing. If I had servants to dust them, then maybe...otherwise, a PERFECT kitchen! ;)

  18. This kitchen is so stunning but maybe just a little perfect Ness. I like a kitchen to show a love of food and family - sharing great moments around the table, enjoying a delicious meal and good company - even the occasional squabble makes for a memorable moment. Maybe we just need to move in and mess it up a bit!! xv

  19. Vicki,
It wouldn't stay this pristine with our two boys for long! That is what would make it ours though. I agree with you totally.

  21. This kitchen is almost identical to one by designer Mick De Giulio. Check out his website under residential to see it. I think I also remember it on Cote de Texas. Joni always has the most fabulous houses featured!
