All of these images share the same pleasing qualities, light, lovely and a little French!
This one above is actually in the UK and even though it is very pale, it is so welcoming and peaceful.

The dark wooden floors are beautiful in this room and the use of black against the white walls just scream sophistication to me. The two wicker chairs and the stone fire surround add some warmth to this area.

All white washed and aged...just how I like them!

Oh Ness, if only......... I was very rich or maybe win the lottery!! I don't think that I can aspire to many of those rooms but we can all take some of the elements and put them in our own houses. You find the best and most beautiful pictures. XXXX
ReplyDeleteThe room in the second photo is to die for!
ReplyDeleteNess, Another divine post, and as inspiring as always:-) Thank you again, and have a gorgeous weekend.

Ooh I love them all, especially the ceiling in the second photo and the whitewashed armoire in the third photo. I have an armoire which would look sensational with that effect, so I'm going to save that image!
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely in love with pic #2 - the clocks, the roof, the fireplace. I love it all!
ReplyDeletethe second image is to die for !!
ReplyDeletejust dreamy.

All of the rooms are beautiful! And I agree with the rest of the comments about the second photo. Love the ceiling: beams, design, lighting, all of it.
ReplyDeleteWow. They're alll beautiful. But I am in LOVE with the ceilings in the second one. Would those be considered cathedral ceilings?
ReplyDelete*swoon* Hi Ness! I would die to have the ceilings in the second photo - and the furniture in that kitchen and I could just walk through the screen into that last room and claim it for myself. GORGEOUS.

Beautiful photos and it looks like #2 wins hands down.
ReplyDeleteThe contrast of the dark floors really makes all the difference. If the floors had been as light as the rest of the room, it still would have been beautiful, but not nearly as stunning.
Dear Ness~
ReplyDeleteAlways the best of the best comes from YOU! My favorite pallet is that of neutrals~ LOVE IT ALL!!
