So pretty! I can't wait to see your tufted project. I'm sure it will be beuatiful, Ness! I am in love with tufted chairs and couches. Maybe someday I will have one. I have admired them for awhile. Very elegant and classy.
what a pretty picture, just love it, i love the casual way books are heaped up and the way the little fireplace has been done!! simple and beautiful homes
Love tufting! I have one chair with tufting on it and that was inherited from my husband's grandmother. It's in green velvet and is a gentleman's chair. Not crazy on the velvet, but for now it stays. If I had my way it would be covered in Linen. No surprise there. I couldn't help wondering with your picture about the wood that is stacked in the fireplace. Sculpturally beautiful, but a bugger if there were ants and bugs nesting in one of the logs!! Yikes!!!! Hope you've had a great start to your week. Good to see you hadn't been blown away with the winds we've had the past week or so. Will call in again soon. Take care Janine XXOO N.W. Coast Tassie
How funny, Ness! I just pulled some of my old Vogue Living magazines out yesterday and flipped through them including the very issue which your pic is from. Then I came across this pic on your blog. It's beautiful.
If anyone is interested, it's from Vogue Living Jan/Feb 2007 issue - a great issue (the pic on my blog for yesterday's post is from the very same issue but is of Ilse Crawford's apartment).
This is Linda Gregoriou's apartment in Sydney's Elizabeth Bay. The rest of the place is stunning also.
I love to read what you have to say, so don't be shy! I try to answer your comments via email and will add answers in the comment form as well. I appreciate you taking the time. xx
