Spring seems to have lost its way here this year and I yearn for some sun filled days and the feeling that Summer is weeks away.
I guess in a way it is a good thing too that the season is late
...I am stuck indoors making items non stop for The Shop.
By this time I had planned on preparing our outdoor area for the BBQ's ahead but alas, no time.
So today I am happy to look at these images and pretend that our spaces are prepared for my Parents arrival shortly, and there are no weeds in the garden, and that there is not much to do but make gingerbread men...real edible ones, not clay!...and eat fruit mince pies and dance around to Bing Crosby while decking our halls etc.

Not going to happen right now.
This reminds me that the floors need mopping and the windows need cleaning and I still have to finish painting our dining chairs. They have been waiting for about a year now it seems!
...and my office? Well that's another conundrum all together =0/
Never mind, the rush will be done with soon and all these things will be waiting - still!
Hope you are having a lovely day

Oh, Sweetie! There are never enough hours in the day. Your parents will be delighted to see you, regardless. Forget about the weeds - I'm sure they won't notice. J x
ReplyDeleteOne thing is for sure......it's not going anywhere....just take one day at a time....and I'm sure your mom wouldn't mind mopping your floor for you!;)
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Lynda
Dear Ness!
ReplyDeleteMany visitors of my blog write: "Oh, that's nice in your house and garden!"
But they don't see, what looks like 10 cm in addition to the photos :-))))
My to do list is also getting longer and never shorter. :(
Hugs
Tine
Really beautiful images!
ReplyDeleteIt seems so funny to think that summer is soon arriving in your land, while we slowly grow colder and are waiting for snow. It's -12for an overnight low and expecting 5 - 10 cm of snow! Yippee! I am looking for snow!
Hugs, Cindy
Hi Ness! I can't wait to receive the clays! Did you send them? Thank you...
ReplyDeleteIm feeling the same way about my projects and house cleaning Ness!! ;) LOVE the photos! Hugs, Rachel
ReplyDeleteHi Ness Maybe a working bee with your parents will happen once they arrive. Nothing like a family working bee for some fun and laughter

Julie M....who is in the midst of one cold rainy Autumn.
Have a lovely visit with your parents, Ness! I hope you are able to have a little rest and relaxation. You are a busy gal these days and we all appreciate your beautiful handmade items! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the Christmas rush will be over soon and you will have time for other things. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with your chairs.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. We're getting ready for winter here, and I'm craving for the warmth of summer already! YIKES!
