Christmas Table Thoughts...

Hey there!
With Christmas day looming I have started to organise our day. We are having 8-10 people here on Christmas Eve and 11 for Christmas lunch/dinner and this year my Parents will join us which I am so happy about. The table at Christmas time is something I enjoy decorating and this image always gets me inspired. Remember the wings I wanted? Well I just gave up, not like me I know, but I have moved on and put my creative efforts to something else. I do like the idea of little wreaths made from Twisted Willow though...hmmm.
How are your dinner plans coming along?

  1. Ness, if you want wings next year, you shouls check at Hallowee'n in the Party Stores. Her in Canada, Hallowween is huge and the stores are full to the top with costumes and lots of feathery wings. I saw loads this year. If only I had known.......

  2. It is very simple to make wings from old sheet music. Just cut out feather shapes, some large, some small, and arrange them on a piece of cardboard shaped like a pair of wings. Use gossamer ribbon to attatch them. I am having difficulty iploading the pics or I would send some!

  3. You might be able to buy the wings that were on display after Christmas - some stores just throw out their display items...worth asking!! Happy Holidays, your home looks lovely!

  6. I love doing the christmas table too. We are having lunch at my parents this year, so I don't need to do the table, but I will do it up for christmas breakfast though. Wishing you a very Merry christmas Ness to you and your family! Leahxxx

  7. I love the wreaths. I have finished work now for the year so tomorrow I can dream up our table scape.
