Our Bedroom progress...

Hi.
I thought I would touch base and give you a little look-see at how our bedroom is coming along.
Nothing like this dreamy one above, but getting there.
This image has given me a lot to think about in our own room.

..as has this one.
I am loving the idea of some sort of feature around our chimney breast,.
I have an good idea of what I will be doing, but this week it wont happen as I prepare Marley & Lockyer for the Boutique Markets which is happening on Sunday in Hobart.
There is a sewing frenzy happening here right now as well as trying to squeeze in painting and preparing our bedroom.
I just want it finished. The weather has been horrid and not good for drying anything. We did get a few good days which hinted to spring and I got as much as I could done. So that's a start I guess.
Here is a little peek of the rooms progress....

The wall had a band of a dark caramel suede paint around it, which I had to paint out first before putting the real coats on the wall.
You can see where the band of colour was.

Here is our fireplace wall that I am thinking of doing some sort of feature with
and I am still debating on painting the mantel and surround white.
You can see a bit of my wardrobe makeover off to the left there,
but more on that soon.

Today I was working on this side table, which my Dad made a long time ago. I have finished Mics one and put the last coat on mine this afternoon.
So, all I have to do now
is a few small things and the room will be done
...for now anyways ;0)
Once the Market is over with on Sunday, I will be able to get my backside into this room and get it finished.
Stay tuned!
