Elegant Christmas...

So, the first of the 2011 Christmas range has landed at Marley & Lockyer.
Over the last few days I have been making lots of clay Chrismassy goodness!
My love of the doily has come to the forefront with these round tags.
Pressed into the tops and stamp in a simple font, I am loving the elegance they exude.
I don't actually have them all about our home, but I just love the detail in the humble doily.

They have been 'doilied' ( a word I have just made up for this project!)
on either the left or right hand side of the tag, so basically, no 2 tags are alike.
I do like that.

I couldn't help but add a 'love' version to the group.
An all year tag really, that flows on from the other love tags I have brought out.

The Christmas Doves have had a makeover too with the help of a gorgeous, hand crocheted doily.
Again, no two are the same.

We have had our little boys on Spring, School holidays for this week and next, so production in the workroom has been
a little hard as I can't just leave them while I work, so you will have to be patient for the next batch.
I have some extras items I have yet to photograph that will come out in the meantime.
The next ones are my all time faves I think!

Here is a new addition to the store
-a Owl clay necklace.
I sold LOTS of these at the Boutique Markets in Hobart last weekend.
Very cute!
As always, I would love your thoughts on the start of the new range =0)

  1. Oh these are just gorgeous!! I'm loving the doily at the moment too - reminds me of my childhood when my grandma would wrap little flower posies with them. I really love the wrapping with the brown paper/doily combo too - may have to borrow that idea this Christmas!! Gorgeous!

PS I'm new and I love your blog. Congrats!
