Day 5....Decorating with twigs and sprigs

Wow! What a busy week!!
I have been a little tardy in uploading our own Christmas decorating, but I promise it is coming.
After a sleep-in tomorrow, some more decorating will be in stall.
The plan is to make some wreaths out of Twisted Willow from our old tree in the garden.
I would love to have two big ones for our Kitchen windows, hanging from white ribbon, like in this photo above which I found on pinterest.

...and maybe some of these twig stars for the mantle.
I am thinking I could make one for my office also and have it all year round.

but, I think I will start with the wreaths for these windows you can just see in this shot of our kitchen.
I also want to make some other wreaths for a little project I am working on for our Christmas decorating.
There are also some more lights to hang outside and this is planned for tomorrow
...wish me luck, and lets hope I don't fall off the ladder!

By the way, Day 5 of The 12 Days of Marley & Lockyer's Christmas deal is
Spend over $15.00 on anything in store, and YOU get to choose for FREE, ANY 2 Clay Tags.
Only for one day remember!

  1. Hi Ness,
I'm stopping by to say hello and I see that you have been a busy girl. I'm so glad that your shop is doing well.

Love the idea of the twig wreath. They will look lovely in your gorgeous kitchen.

  2. Hi Ness,

That first image is completely gorgeous. I have been wanting to make some wreaths too, but I think I will run out of time!! Will have to put it on the list for next year.

I was looking at the picture of the star. That is made so well as there seem to be spacers for the paralell branches. I think you could get away with it displayed all year!!

Your kitchen is looking lovely and is so clean!!

Have a great weekend decorating. Ours is ear-marked for Sunday.

    Take care

  4. I love the pictures you have posted! I was sad to discover that the blog for the second star is no longer up. I had hoped to take a closer look at it!

Enjoy your weekend of decorating! I am in the throes of decorating our whole home! It is so sad as we moved into this home almost 2 years ago and am still decorating. I think it was because it was such a tiny house and I was waiting to hear "its" voice. However the addition was completed in June so we have a little more breathing room.

I do however want to say thank you for your inspiration!
