Something I have wanted to do for a long, long time was plates, bowls and small sake size cups.
I gave it a whirl, and here is the first, the guinea pig.
I am planning on putting this on my Sweat Shop wall,
but there will be some in The Store very soon.
Some will have original drawings on them, which will make them one-of-a-kind pieces.
Do you like it?
I love it!! It's gorgeous and I love the simplicity. :)

ReplyDeleteRachael.
Oh wow, it's gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteHey Ness,
ReplyDeleteLove the proto type for the plate. Are these just for decoration or will you eventually seal some so people can use them for food?
I couldn't help but notice on your facebook page the absolute stunning portrait of the lady and man. Heck yes, put it on your 'sweat shop' wall, as I could stare at this all day. Was this Madonna and Warren Beatty with the movie Dick Tracey? The shading and facial features are amazing. I find people's faces the hardest things to draw (and might I add, I fail miserably at).....and just look at her gorgeous hair!
Take care
Janine

beautiful... I'd hang it or just place it on a pile of books (like a tiny piece of sculpture)
