Wondering and planning the workspace...

Can you believe this is a workroom?
It is amazing.
I imagine the output in here is huge. There is something about
working in a well designed space
which makes the design process so much easier.
At the moment, I am trying to work out my new work space
layout, materials etc
and looking at loads of images
...mainly of white spaces...

even light fittings!
There will be only one overhead light in the workspace.
Some will think this is silly, but I hate overhead lighting when I am working.
I am more of a task light person.
This one is soft and would make a great feature for the other intended reason for the new space
(which will be revealed once it's done)

One thing for sure is, there will be NO plasterboard/gyprock in there.
I am looking at something more like what is about the windows here,
whitewashed of course.

Not sure about what type of shelving units will be in there,
but I do like these...

...and these.
Can you image them filled with piles of my white clay and cushion covers?

  2. Hi! New reader here!

White is a great room colour for designing, planning and thinking. Workspaces which are white encourage creativity and don't distract the mind. Fantastic ideas!
