Workroom progress....

Progress on the new workroom
is moving along.
All the walls are plastered, the walls either side of the fireplace have their
bead board up and I gave them a coat of primer today.
The plan with these walls will be something like this photo above.
My office table will slot into the alcove and have shelves above for
all of my office files etc.

I am on the hunt for some racks for the space.
I know I will end up getting more of the ones I have at the moment,
but if I lived in Sydney, I would be off to the
David met Nicole store to get some of these at their closing down sale!

Also on the 'hunt' list is a work table for the middle of the room.
I do like these trestle table legs from Ikea, but I have found what may be the perfect table for my
work room. I have to go and measure it up and check it out in the flesh, but all of the specs so far look good.

Here is a little sneak peak of the boards before I gave them the primer coat and also
 before the plaster went up.
All we have left to do is hang the cornice, architraves and chair rail and then paint walls
and the floor
...then I can move in.
I can not wait to get in here...you have no idea how much.

  3. It's going to be wonderful, imagine how productive you will be! I'd like one of those trestle tables in my workspace as well. One day. I'm still envious of that fire. I sat in front of the fire yesterday making chain for my necklaces. SO much nicer than sitting in a cold room :)
